We are all fellowmen meeting on this journey called Life. This years Drammen Sacred Music Festival “Journeys” wish to create more of these encounters. Encounters and good experiences together. You are not alone!
The very first “journey” of the festival happens during the opening seremony wednesday 21th of September. Meeting place is at Papirbredden, with a walk over the Ypsilon Bridge accompanied by workd rhythms.
Our challenge to you is to take the first step of this walk, by inviting a neighbour, a colleage or just an acquaintance, or more than one, to join you for the walk across the bridge. Or just show up at the brigde, open for new encounters. It is also possible to come in groups. Are you up for the challenge?
We will hand out “You are not alone”-bracelets from our information stand at Papirbredden, to the ones invited and to the ones that took the challenge. The bracelet gives free entrance to the Opening concert with Rohini/Balke, and also to other concerts int the program.
Join us at Papirbredden / the Ypsilon Brigde Wednesday 21st of September. Handing out of bracelets from 17:30 and the Official Opening at 18:00. Concert at Union Scene 19:00 whick is FREE with the bracelet. Welcome!
