Sanskriti Shrestha blends Asian music traditions with western musical forms like jazz and electronics - an experience in both sound and technique. Watch her intimate concert at Thea and Arves place in Marcus Thrane's street in Drammen.
The first concert in the Open Living Room series will take place Monday, September 17th: Experience the amazing soul voice of Beharie in an intimate concert in Kim and Ann Margritts living room on Muusøya in Drammen.
Connecting the West to the desert by surpassing boundaries. This band is a multicultural commitment in which jazz or Gnawa and Berber music claim the greatest role, but whose scores also include electric sonorities, African, Latin and Flemish.
This group constitutes this year's festival board for the Drammen Sacred Music Festival, from the left: Ingvild Jacobsen, Terje Brun-Pedersen, Sharee Loren, Chairman Ivar Flaten and General Manager Reidun Svabø.
This year's festival program will be published during the next few weeks. The first artist out is Solveig Slettahjell, who brings a collection of top musicians with her on Sunday 23 September in Filadelfia. Read more about the concert here.
