Description

Ebru is an ancient art form that originated in former Persia and has now reached its fine form in Istanbul, passed on through generations by master-student relationships. With Ebru one creates art with colours that dance on water. The main materials for Ebru are water and earth. Water is necessary as a canvas, earth is necessary for colouring. When the colors of earth meet the water, a miracle takes place!

Ebru master Kubilay Eralp Dinçer will guide you through basic steps so you can get a feeling of what Ebru painting is all about. It will be available for both children and adults. Just come and attend at any time during opening hours.
