Description
European choral and instrumental music from the past 200 years will be performed in the Bragernes Church. The choir from St. Hallvard High School will perform “Warning to the rich”, a dedicated work by the Swedish composer Thomas Jennefelt. Drammen young cellist Mirjam Kammler playing again with his musical friends. Norway’s oldest oratoriekor, Cæciliaforeningen from Oslo, guests also this year with an a cappella program, which was recently recorded on CD.
Milad Amouzegar is an Iranian guitarist who lives in Drammen. He has hosted Iranian music being performed by a Norwegian ensemble.
The pictures of Dresden in 1945 resembles pictures from the big cities in today’s Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and Iraq.
